Why is the pricing different?

Weddings at The Gem include our Reception Essentials package: professional service staff, reception coordination, water and wine service, plate clearing, glassware resets, and full setup and teardown - built right into your quote. We do it this way intentionally: your wedding day should be completely stress-free, with no surprise fees or last-minute additions to figure out. Everything is accounted for before you arrive.

For corporate events, retreats, holiday parties, and other gatherings, pricing works differently: you build exactly what you need, so you're only ever paying for the services that make sense for your event. Two different experiences, two different approaches to pricing.

At The Gem, your wedding investment works for you. Our Minimum Collective Spend approach was designed to provide clarity and value for your event. Every dollar you spend on in-house services contributes toward The Gem's minimum collective spend requirement. Every venue booking comes with the Reception Essentials package and a two-bedroom honeymoon suite (the Jade Suite) included, so you have a private space on site to use as needed and stay after your celebration.

Catering is managed through our trusted third-party vendors, giving you the freedom to choose your menu and desired budget. Please note that catering costs are not included in The Gem's Collective Minimum Spend.

RENTAL INCLUSIONS

BAR SERVICE

SUBSIDIZED BAR

Clients pay some of the bar services with options of:

- A choice of limited drinks covered
- Drink tickets
- A capped $ amount
- A set time during the event

Guests pay for all drinks with regular bar service.

CASH BAR

* A variety of table wines are available and charged by cases of 12.
* Prosecco can be served at any point and is charged by the bottle
* All alcohol must be purchased through The Gem. No corkage available.
* 20% gratuity automatically applied to all beverage sales
* All prices and options are subject to change without notice

HOST BAR

Clients pays for all bar services on one master tab which is invoiced following the event.

This ensures your guests receive proper service, plateware, glassware, and everything needed for a seamless dining experience. This requirement does not apply to self-serve, takeaway, or finger food setups.
